PM SHRI KV Punjab Lines Meerut Cantt came into being on 1st July, 1963 and it can proudly speak of itself as it is one of those 20 KVs which were established during the very first year of the inception of KVs. It is a defence sector KV. It is located on Circular Road in front of Glass Gurudwara. It is about 3 kms North of city railway station, 2 km South of Cantt. Railway station and nearly 3 km West of Begum Bridge. Thus it has an easy accessibility by both routes-rail and road. Being surrounded by myriad green trees, it bears a picturesque look.
This KV is up to +2 stage. It has 02 section in Science, 01 section Commerce and 01 Humanities at +2 level. This Vidyalya is running in 04 (four) sections in each class up to 12th class.
Its secondary Section building is compact one constructed on an eight acre piece of land. It has well equipped Computer Labs,Physics lab, Chemistry Lab and Biology Lab, Geography Lab, Mathematic Lab ,Junior Science Lab and a very rich library having different kinds of books. It has a separate spacious well maintained Primary Building. It has 02 permanent run up track of 200 meters.
Most of the games facilities are available in the Vidyalaya. Some of them are Lawn Tennis, Basket Ball , Kho Kho, Foot ball, Athletics, Volley ball, badminton.
